How to Create a Music Magazine Cover in InDesign이라는 포스트를 봤다. 처음엔 인디자인은 써본 적 거의 없는데-라며 별 생각없이 봤는데 꽤나 유용한 포스트인 것 같다. 어쩌다가 쓸 일이 생겨도 프레임 나누고 포지션 잡는 작업이 서툰 경우가 많은데, 그 부분에 대해서 잘-까지는 아니고, 걍 보기 쉬울 정도만큼 보여줘서 이해하기 쉬운 것 같다. 기본 중에 기본이랄까- 어디서든 기본기가 중요하다는거. 난 이런거 쓸 일 없으니까 포토샵이랑 일러스트만 잘 써야지- 룰루랄라(?)

일러스트로 만든 흐느적 나뭇가지

약 2년전에 포스팅했던 Adobe Illustrator 'Spiral Tool' 관련 초급 팁입니다만. 그렇게 어려운 방법은 아니지만 뭐랄까-어쨋거나 마우스로 그린다는 것 자체가 좀 귀찮을 때가..큼! 보통 'Spiral Tool'이란게 이런 식으로 나뭇가지를표현하는데 많이 쓰이곤 하더군요. 이렇게 쓰는게 거의 기본이다보니 그런 것 같긴 합니다만.. 좀 더 활용하려면, 더 많은나뭇가지를 넣고 다른 소스나 배경등과 조합한다든지 등등.. 이쁘게 활용할 수도 있을 겁니다. 모 여느 다른 사이트들처럼 멋들어진 강좌같은걸 할실력은 안되지만.. 적어도 취지는 '스킨활용'에 있으니.. 혹시라도 쓰고 싶은데 어떻게 쓸지 모르겠다 하시는 분은 착한(?)저에게 쌍큼하게 질문을 해주시면 불친절하게 답변해 드릴 순 있습네다..음! 일러스트로 저장한 파일을 올려둘테니.. 정말 혹시나필요하신 분이 계시면 수정해서 쓰셔도 무방합니다만... 쓸 사람은 없을 것 같은..? 아, 그리고 위 이미지를 활용한 예제도 하나 올려둡니다. 예제 보기

포토샵이나 일러스트를 쓰다보면, 브러쉬툴을 은근히 많이 쓰게 되죠. 물론 개인차는 있겠지만, 저같은 경우는 굳이 소스구해서 직접 잘라 붙이는 귀찮은 짓을 하지 않기위해. 평소에도 이것저것 북마크도 해두고 리소스도 최대한 박박- 긁어 모아 놓는 편이예요. 그래서 제가 Digg.com을 애용하는지도? 60 Impressive Free High Resolution Textures and Backgrounds나 31 Incredible Resources And Inspirations For Desig...와 같은 포스트도 때에 따라서 정말 유용하게 쓰일 수 있죠. 특히나, 이런 소스들은 나중에 필요해서 찾을려면 도통 어딨는지 다시 찾아내기가 어렵다는거. 그럴 때 진짜 화난다는.. 그리고 브러쉬툴의 경우는 크게 힘들이지 않고도 원하는 느낌을 재현하는데는 최고의 도구. 포토샵 브러쉬질 몇 번이면 굳이 일러스트까지 안켜도 일이 끝나있다는 무서운 현실.. 뭐야, 이거.. 무서워. 아무튼, 50 Free Photoshop Brush Sets for Modern Design Trends 이 포스트를 따라가보면, 입맛에 맞는 브러쉬들을 다운 받을 수 있습니다. 상당히 많지만, 언제 어디에 쓰일지 모르니 다 받아놓고 보자. 크흐흐-

The tutorials on the page I have given you are simply beautifuldesigns. I saw that page, and instantly bookmarked it. I fell in lovewith those tutorials. They help me more than I could imagine. Helpingme learn new tricks, correcting what I was doing wrong, and mostimportantly, gives me inspiration. Now, you don’t have to follow thetutorials exactly how they are shown. Use your imagination, use yourown creativity and make whatever comes to your head.

Even beginners can use these tutorials, because all the steps arelaid out for you. It’s a really good jump start to designing yourself.I remember years ago when I started designing, every single thing Ihave learned how to do using Photoshop and other image editingsoftwares is that tutorials are the key to success. You get theshortcuts to learning the essentials, and some more advanced tricks youcan use. Some of the steps may be difficult, but use some common senseif you get stuck. Ask yourself, “How would I go about doing this, asit’s explained unclearly?” With some time, and some patience, it willcome to you.
